The 2022 Light Dry Red offers a captivating nose with notes of strawberry compote, vanilla and star anise. On the palate, it showcases flavours of raspberries, complemented by black tea and subtle hints of cured meat. Firm, chalky tannins and refreshing acidity, lead to impressive length and finish.
 
Sourced from vineyards in Macclesfield and Kuitpo, the grapes were fermented separately in 1-tonne open fermenters. Using a combination of whole bunches and whole berries with twice daily hand plunging. Fermentation to dryness occurred on the skins before pressing, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels. After maturing for 8 months in French hogsheads, the wine was blended and bottled.
